The week 10 waiver wire will be one of the last waiver wires before playoffs begin. At this point in the season you either are in it or not. Yet those teams that are out of contention may play the role of spoiler. No one wants to come in last so the week 10 waiver wire will bring a few more names for you to pick up. With little names on the waiver let us share our week 10 waiver wire pick ups. Remember that all roster % are based on ESPN rosters. We only use players less than 50% for our week 10 waiver wire pick ups.
Jared Goff (33.2%)
Goff has had a tough couple of games before the bye. Yet coming off the bye he gets to play a Seahawks team that continues to get torched. Quarterbacks have consistently put up close to top 12 numbers every single week. I have to believe that Goff and the Rams will try to exploit this secondary. If he is available and you have a bye go pick him up this week to stream.
Tua Tagovailoa (20.1%)
I was still kind of skeptical of Tua going into last weeks waivers. Yet he looked rock solid this past week putting up 21 fantasy points. This week he gets a Chargers team that has allowed several quality fantasy performances. While I am not expecting a huge ceiling Tua could continue to improve. He is someone who needs to be rostered moving forward especially for fantasy playoffs.
Kalen Ballage (0.1%)
Who would of thought a journeyman like Ballage would make the week 10 waiver wire. He had been cut twice this season and was only elevated off the practice squad the day before the game. Yet with players hurt he saw 15 carries for 69 yards and a touchdown. If the Chargers running backs are to miss more time he could see more work. With a top 5 fantasy performance Sunday he certainly is worth a look in leagues.
Ryan Nall (.1%)
Believe it or not I actually included Nall on my waivers a few weeks ago. Now of course I said it was a possible long shot for him to contribute but here we are. Montgomery could enter the concussion protocol and Nall delivered a touchdown in crunch time. As I stated previously the guy is only worth an add in case Monty is out. Monty may not play next week so add him as he is a very solid pass catcher and perfect for PPR formats.
Duke Johnson (16.4%)
Another player that could be worth an add do to the starter getting a concussion. Duke Johnson always has shown potential to be a guy in a rotation. He has excelled with his pass catching ability and that helps in PPR formats. I fully believe he can be a flex play next week if David Johnson is unavailable.
Curtis Samuel (42.2%)
Samuel is becoming a critical part of the Panthers offense these past few weeks. He had 9 targets this past Sunday and has been used in the run game a ton. If he continues getting this usage he could have WR 2 potential for the rest of the season. I would add him in hopes of starting him.
KJ Hamler (1.9%)
Could Hamler of finally found his groove in this Denver offense? Well this past week he certainly looked much improved and collected 10 targets. While he may not take over the role completely I certainly can see him becoming the second option. Fant is banged up again and he certainly has the talent. He is someone I would want to roster, especially in deeper leagues.
Richie James (.1%)
Another player who is all dependent on the status of his teammates. I do not believe Aiyuk and Samuel can play due to covid but continue to monitor it. If they are out pick him up and he could be a flex option potentially for next week.
Trey Burton (11.2%)
There are not many tight ends on waivers that excite me. If I had to choose one it would be Burton. He still had 4 targets last week even though the offense was stagnant. The match up was just to difficult for this Colts team. He gets an easier match up this week in the Titans and could be a solid play.
